Heather Murray

Heather Murray is Navy Veteran and AmeriCorps NCCC alumni passionate about supporting positive impact for the military-connected community. She served as a weather analyst in the Navy for 4 years on two ship deployments. During her own transition from the military, Heather found purpose through supporting the military-connected community as a student peer mentor while attending University of California, San Diego. Currently pursuing her M.S. in nonprofit administration through LSU - Shreveport, Heather brings with her over ten years of experience of supporting projects across military, nonprofit, legal, and human resource spaces. She is excited to apply her knowledge to help grow program impact and foster connections for the community. She currently resides on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and in her free time enjoys baking, traveling, and learning new ways to create cards for friends and family.
