In honor of Month of the Military Child, It’s a Military Child Life hosted the

IMCL Month of the Military Child Illustration Contest

…and let me tell you, WOW! We sure do have some talented military kiddos!

For this contest we asked military-affiliated children to illustrate either their HOME or their HERO, because both are different to each and every military child. The children must also have an Active Duty, Reserve, or National Guard parent or parents, and be between 18 months and 18 years old.

We broke submissions down into 4 age groups – 18 months – 3 years, 4 years – 7 years, 8 years – 12 years, 13 years – 18 years – and each age group has its very own winner who receives their own special prize!
