It's A Military Life is a non-profit organization founded with the mission of supporting military families and veterans. Our three programs, Veteran Pen Pal Project, It's A Military Child Life, and It's A Military Connection, are designed to address the unique needs of these individuals. We are a registered 501(c)3 organization and are committed to transparency and accountability in all of our operations.
Founder and CEO
Christina Etchberger
Christina Etchberger is the Founder and CEO of It's a Military Life Corporation. She is an Army spouse and a mother of two little boys, while currently residing in South Korea. IML began as a lifestyle blog and a community to bring the military community together, and now it has evolved into a nonprofit organization.
She continues to be a connector, by providing educational and resourceful programs for the military community as a whole. She is very grateful for her professional volunteers consisting of military spouses, veterans, service members, and fellow patriots. Christina looks forward to seeing It's a Military Life grow and serve as many people as possible!
It's A Military Life is a nonprofit organization committed to supporting military families and veterans. We offer three tailored programs designed to meet the distinct needs of these communities. Our Veteran Pen Pal Project fosters companionship by connecting veterans with pen pals. It's A Military Child Life delivers resources and support to military children and their families, enhancing their well-being. Additionally, It's A Military Connection provides valuable networking and career resources to assist military spouses and veterans in their professional journeys.

It's A Military Life helped my family when everything was falling apart. After my husband got out of the military it almost felt like we were cut out of the military world. That amazing support we once had was now gone. We thought that there weren't many organizations that supported Veterans and their families too. Then we found It's A Military Life. They have provided countless resources and information to help us land on our feet. Now, I'm a volunteer to help support other families! It's A Military Life really encompass Military Life...which is during and after service!
I cannot say enough good things about It's a Military Life! Being a military spouse can be very challenging at time and It's a Military Life is such an amazing resource! I am honored to be part of their Veteran Pen Pal Program! They are doing such great work, hitting those small details that may seem insignificant to those outside of military life, but are actually incredibly meaningful!!!!!

I connected with It's A Military Life when I first created my child care organization to collaborate on serving military families. This relationship has grown over the last few years and I am always confident that if support is needed in the military community, It's A Military Life will be there.
