Meet the Hosts
Founder, The Unwavering: Kevin Barba. Kevin has served as a Quality Assurance Inspector at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory since July 2018, leading a cross-functional team of Hardware Quality Assurance representatives on various research and development projects. Prior to that, he served in the United States Marine Corps from August 2010 to August 2018 as an Avionics Technician, Communications Security Assistant and Quality Assurance Inspector. His tours of duty include Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 465 (HMH-465), Third Marine Aircraft Wing (3d MAW), & Marine Helicopter Squadron 1 (HMX-1).
Co-Host, The Unwavering Podcast: Gerard Garcia. Gerard served as a Quality Assurance Inspector & NASA Instructor from January 2017 to May 2019. Prior to that he served as a Quality Assurance Inspector with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) from April 2016 to January 2017. As a 7-year veteran of the United States Air Force, Gerard has played an integral role in military aviation & manned flight missions on C-17 & C-5 aircraft from September 2008 to February 2016. His tours of duty include the 62nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (62nd AMXS), 8th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (8th EAMS) – Det 1, & 721st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (721st AMXS).
